Future Member

We are always looking for highly skilled and motivated students who are interested in working in the fields of the finite element method, isogeometric analysis, computer simulations, mechanics, and structural engineering. 

A number of projects aiming to develop computational algorithms in the fields of isogeometric analysis, phase field fracture and topology optimization are currently available in the laboratory. Postdoctoral researchers, research higher degree (PhD, Masters) and undergraduate students are welcome to join our group.

We provide internship opportunity to students willing to work in the field of finite element methods. For further information you can contact us by filling the form provided below. 

The student is required to have a good understanding of finite element method – with experience in the field of computer programming and basic mechanics a distinct advantage. He/She will need to demonstrate adaptability to the multidisciplinary nature of the projects. Masters students are encouraged to contact Dr. Chowdhury to express his/her interest.

PhD opportunities with government and project-funded scholarships are available each year, both to domestic and international students.
