PhD Student

Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India

I have joined computational mechanics lab on Jan 2019. It is a wonderful experience from then. I have started working in the domain of fracture mechanics. I am using phase field approach to simulate the fracture problem. In our lab we mostly use open source packages for our research. I am using FEniCS for the finite element analysis of the the same. It is an wonderful open source software which make our work easier and efficient.

My main aim is to develop a computationally efficient implementation for solving phase-field fracture problem, so that I can solve more realistic problems (practical problems), for this to achieve, I am focusing on space-time adaptivity, and also on parallelization of the developed code.

My work also deals with the topology optimization of large-scale practical problems. Currently, we, as a team, are working on the phase field implementation of the large-scale topology optimization problem with practical relevance.
